EXCERCISE SPIRAL STABILIZATION
STABILIZATION AND MOBILIZATION SYSTEM

Treatment of back pain, prevention of diseases of the spine and the entire musculoskeletal system
SM System – Spiral Stabilization
This is an original therapeutic method developed by MUDr. Richard Smíšek. The method is based on more than 30 years of gradual development and over 25 years of clinical experience in treating patients with spinal pain in the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical regions. It has been successfully used in cases of acute disc herniation and scoliosis.
Many professional athletes also use this method as part of their conditioning training to enhance performance, prevent overuse injuries, and avoid degeneration of the spine and major joints.
SM System is based on spiral stabilization of the spine. Spiral stabilization increases the space between vertebrae, improves mobility in the intervertebral joints, and helps eliminate blockages. As a result, the spine is able to regenerate and heal.
The SM System strengthens weakened muscles while simultaneously stretching shortened ones, restoring optimal mobility and stabilizing gait. It is an exercise method that uses a special elastic cord to teach correct activation of muscle spiral chains. These muscle chains generate an upward traction force that reduces pressure on the intervertebral discs and joints, enabling their nourishment, regeneration, and healing.
By increasing the intervertebral space, pressure on the nerve roots – often responsible for radiating pain into the limbs – is reduced. The spine realigns towards the body's central axis.
This method is used by both professional and recreational athletes – especially those engaged in asymmetrical sports such as golf or tennis – as part of their training to improve performance and prevent overuse and joint degeneration.
The exercises are suitable for everyone – not only for people suffering from back pain but also as a preventive method. It is appropriate for children from the age of 5, for adults of all ages, and is even practiced during pregnancy.
Therapeutic Exercise
Therapeutic exercise is designed for individuals with various health issues and focuses on improving their physical condition and overall well-being. Using specific techniques and customized exercise plans, the program targets rehabilitation and pain prevention.
Conditioning Training for Athletes
These sessions are tailored to enhance athletic performance, flexibility, and strength. The exercises help athletes achieve peak physical condition while minimizing the risk of injury.
Exercise for Pregnant Women
Pregnancy exercise programs are focused on the health and well-being of both the mother and baby. They strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and support the body through the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy.
Exercise for Children
To achieve the best results with the SM System exercises, it is essential to perform them correctly and regularly (the intensity and frequency depend on the specific issue being addressed).
Individual sessions ensure high-quality instruction and professional guidance.
Exercises can be done independently or in combination with a therapeutic massage, which further relaxes tight muscles after the session.
We offer:
-
Therapeutic exercise programs
-
Conditioning training for athletes
-
Special programs for pregnant women and children
